DOUG "D.BAIL" BAILEY

GRUSTLE MEDIA'S OWN

Media Arts Specialist/Educational Technologist Doug Bailey has over twenty years of experience working in the entertainment industry. He has worked as a television host for Comcast Cable, Time Warner, and the Billboard DEMMX award-winning show, Certified on Music Choice.

Professionally known as "D.Bail," Doug has conducted hundreds of celebrity interviews for various outlets, including Where Ya At? Video Show, Justo's Mixtape Awards, Mixshow 360, and his independent platform, Grustle TV/Grustle Media.

Doug also expanded his writing expertise, maintaining monthly mixtape recaps on the Mixtape Awards blog site, which will be transformed into audible clips soon.

Doug's first media love was radio, and he spent fifteen years working for the #1 Urban Adult Contemporary station in New York City - 107.5 WBLS FM. In addition, under the Emmis Communications and current MediaCo banner, Doug serviced sales and community clients as a promotions coordinator for eight years with the most acknowledged radio brand in Hip Hop culture - HOT 97 FM. He was among the most experienced and recognizable brand ambassadors in their promotional and marketing department.

Doug later transcended his position in radio at Rutgers and New Jersey City University, teaching media classes to adolescent students.

Doug is the creative director for GrustleMedia.com, home of the Co-BETE podcast and a soon-to-be-launched retrospective series of his career highlights in the number one media market. In the spirit of his love of vintage fashion and e-commerce, apparel is now available via SHOP96 on his website.

Doug continues to develop his expertise in education, technology, and entertainment, creating initiatives to service those in need.

A current full-time educator who has earned his master's in educational technology and a STEM certificate, Doug is looking to partner with progressive companies to provide his students exposure to a concept he developed called ETE literacy (education, technology, and entertainment).

Doug looks forward to starting an EdTech Leadership program in the summer of 2024 to earn his doctorate in education.
