Doug Bailey, professionally known as “D.Bail,” is a Media Arts Specialist and Educational Technologist with over twenty years of experience in entertainment media, broadcasting, and education. As a television host, D.Bail has worked with Comcast Cable, Time Warner Cable, and the Billboard DEMMX Award–winning show Certified on Music Choice.

Throughout his career, D.Bail has conducted hundreds of celebrity interviews, contributing to outlets such as Where Ya At? Video Show, Justo’s Mixtape Awards, Mixshow 360, and his independent platform Grustle TV / Grustle Media.

​

D.Bail’s passion for media began in radio, where he spent 15 years at New York City’s #1 Urban Adult Contemporary station, WBLS 107.5 FM. He also served as a promotions coordinator for HOT 97, working under both Emmis Communications and MediaCo, supporting marketing campaigns, sales initiatives, and community partnerships for one of hip-hop culture’s most recognized radio brands.

D.Bail later expanded his work into education and media literacy, teaching media production courses to adolescent students at Rutgers University and New Jersey City University.

Today, D.Bail serves as the Creative Director of GrustleMedia.com, home of the Co-BETE Podcast, where he explores the intersection of culture, education, technology, and entertainment. The platform will soon feature a retrospective series highlighting D.Bail’s experiences working in the nation’s top media market.

In addition to media production, D.Bail’s passion for vintage fashion and e-commerce inspired the launch of SHOP96, a curated apparel line available through the site.

D.Bail continues to expand his work at the intersection of education, technology, and entertainment, currently serving as an academic advisor and doctoral student. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts, a Master’s degree in Educational Technology, and a STEM certificate.
